Vitality of Juche Idea and Validity of the Report of the EighthCongress of the WPK

Ladies and gentlemen,

It is my pleasure and honour to attend the international internet seminar held on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. Availing myself of this opportunity, I extend my sincere greetings to the organizers of this seminar.

Ladies and gentlemen,

President Kim Il Sung led the Korean revolution and authored the immortal Juche idea, thus leading the popular masses to correct road of shaping their destiny independently and strengthen independence.

He also founded a revolutionary party of new type with the Juche idea as its guiding principle for the first time in the history of communist movement. It is definitely the most brilliant achievement performed by President Kim Il Sung.

The Juche idea clarifies the road that enables all the world people to enjoy benefits of national wealth and lead a fair and happy life in a society free from privilege, injustice or corruption.

The Juche idea was authored by the great Leader President Kim Il Sung. The great leader Kim Jong Il who was boundlessly loyal to the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea, enriched the Juche idea on the basis of experiences and successes in the building of a genuine socialist society in the DPRK.

Today the Juche idea has further enriched and more deeply developed by the steadfast faith of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Vitality of the Juche idea in the DPRK proved that there is a viable idea that leads the course of building the most civilized and fair society. It has been proved that the countries dependent on outside aids could achieve a positive result even under any circumstance through the proper and methodological application of the Juche idea.

Remarkable experience in the DPRK shows that there exists the people’s country where they live openly with their own ideas and independence free from worries even under political, economic and social upheavals easily caused by the imperialists against independence and development.

The Juche idea was applied in conformity with the people’s aspiration and concrete reality of the DPRK based on single-hearted unity.

The Korean people who armed themselves with the Juche idea under the wise leadership of the leaders devote themselves to the building of a good society with consciousness that they are masters of their destiny and country.

In this peaceful country with a strong sense of solidarity, the people are ready to cooperate for well-being of other people and themselves under the leadership of their leader.

Sovereignty, Juche and socialism are a compass and a main way of the Korean revolution. These conceptions conform to the Korean people’s desire and the present situation of the DPRK and consist in the gist of revolutionary exploits, precious tradition and numerous experiences achieved by the leaders for over a half century.

Permanent development of the DPRK’s socialism proves validity and vitality of the brilliant and immortal Juche idea. Since the Workers’ Party of Korea accepted the Juche idea as its guiding principle, the heroic Korean people has traversed only the path of victory in the struggle to tame the unfavourable nature and the struggle to frustrate successive challenges of the imperialist forces who tried to subdue the invincible Korean people with high-handedness.

After the Eighth Congress of the WPK, experienced observers were not surprised by the contents of the report and the conclusion.

The WPK and the Korean people turned out in a new advance of innovative development to uphold the wise and seasoned leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Un along the road invariably shown by the leaders even under worldwide political and economic circumstances.

Loving justice and peace, I believe that the DPRK will achieve the independent reunification of Korea at an early date and especially peacefully and make a big leap forward, by applying correctly the principles of Juche in the future.

Long live the DPRK!
