Correctness of the Directive of the Eighth Congress of the Workers Party of Korea

The history of the Workers Party of Korea is closely related to the heroic deeds of the great people of Paektusan. The esteemed comrade KIM IL SUNG founded the party on October 10, Juche 34 (1945), after which he victoriously liberated Korea from the colonial enslavement of Japan in the heroic armed anti-Japanese struggle. President KIM IL SUNG led the Workers Party of Korea brilliantly and victoriously in the time of the Patriotic War of Liberation in building socialism. President KIM IL SUNG developed the Juche ideology and thus created the ideological basis of the Workers Party of Korea.

The esteemed comrade KIM JONG IL led the party victoriously through the period of the difficult march and the forced march. He developed the Democratic People's Republic of Korea into a militarily strong nuclear power. KIM-JONG-IL patriotism is engulfing the whole country and the party.

The esteemed comrade KIM JONG UN continues the Workers Party of Korea in the spirit of KIMILSUNGISM-KIMJONGILISM in an unprecedented manner with outstanding genius. The Eighth Congress of the Workers Party of Korea, which took place under the difficult conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the hostile sanctions of the external imperialist forces, elected the esteemed comrade KIM JONG UN as Secretary General of the Workers Party of Korea. The Eighth Congress of the Workers Party of Korea laid important foundations for further socialist economic development. The esteemed comrade KIM JONG UN declared in his closing speech at the 8th Party Congress on January 12th Juche110 (2021): “As long as there is the fiery loyalty and the irresistible strength of the unanimous unity of all party members, the people and the officers and soldiers of the People's Army who support the conception and decision of the party through consistent actions and practices, our victory is certain. "

The Eighth Congress thus proves the correctness of the line taken by the Workers Party of Korea. The monolithic unity of leader, party and popular masses are the foundation for the strength and success of socialism in Korea. True to the principle of the Juche ideology and the Songun policy, the always victorious Workers Party of Korea will consistently follow KIMILSUNGISM- KIMJONGILISM, led by the highly esteemed comrade KIM JONG UN, to continue its successful course.
